The number of home appliances capable of exceeding the class A for energy efficiency is growing steadily. It is the result of companies’ research into technologies that can significantly reduce consumption and waste, offering consumers increasingly sustainable solutions. Among the latest innovations is the new DB597TXS built-in dishwasher from LG. It is a 14-place settings, fully integrated model that is part of the QuadWash Series 5 range. It achieves high performance in energy efficiency, ensuring effective dish care. The appliance has achieved class A-20% thanks to the use of the Inverter Direct Drive motor. In practice, the dishwasher is 20% more efficient than the minimum standard required by energy class A. All this with a noise level of only 43 dB.

In addition, the appliance supports the consumer in making sustainable choices thanks to the presence of the Eco program and Eco options: Energy Saving, Half Load, and Dual Zone (the power of the water jet is differentiated for the upper and lower baskets). And drying has also been considered according to a logic of efficiency: the automatic opening of the door at the end of the cycle, in fact, causes the air from the outside environment to dry the dishes. This offers the advantage of not wasting energy.

In designing the DB597TXS dishwasher, LG thought not only about energy efficiency but also about efficiency in the arrangement of dishes to achieve the best washing results. In fact, the product’s design is versatile: the appliance features the EasyRack Plus system (adjustable racks to optimize space as needed), a third basket with adjustable height, and a pan support.

A path towards sustainability

The new dishwasher is part of a sustainability path undertaken by the company, which is offering several types of high-efficiency home appliances. For example, the GBB92MBB3P refrigerator achieves class A-20%. Thanks to the linear inverter compressor, the appliance reduces temperature variations with fluctuations of only ±0.5°C. This is important because by keeping the temperature constant, it enables better food preservation.
Another significant achievement concerns washing machines. The company offers products ranging from class A-10% to A-40%. In particular, the F4R9009TPWC model exceeds by 40% the energy efficiency of the minimum standard required by class A.

Efficiency and performance together

Energy efficiency provided by the Inverter Direct Drive motor is combined with technologies that ensure high performance. The QuadWash system with four multidirectional spray arms reaches even the most difficult corners. In addition, TrueSteam technology, with its 100°C steam generator, eliminates 99.99% of bacteria and reduces water stains. Finally, LG’s new dishwasher has Wi-Fi connectivity and is compatible with the LG ThinQ app. The app allows users to download specific programs for different types of dishes, customize wash cycles as needed, receive notifications, and access the Smart Diagnosis function.
