Haier Europe and Tate (energy supplier) have started a partnership that guarantees the connection of the household appliances to a tariff based on hourly PUN (National Single Price) that allows user to pay for energy at its real price, updated hour by hour, instead of being based on the average monthly price. Thanks to the latest generation meters, the supplier can know exactly how much customers consume every 15 minutes, thus ensuring that they take full advantage of the times when energy costs less. Energy is purchased on the market day by day at prices decided in the previous 24 hours, which can be monitored on the Tate app. This allows consumer to easily consult the price evolution, read suggestions for maximizing use and plan consumption at the most advantageous times. All this translates into savings, especially when appliances such as dishwashers, dryers, washing machines and air conditioners are involved. “This partnership – Benvenuto Pogliani, Head of Energy Ecosystem Development Haier Europe, comments – concretely shows not only the potential of the offers, designed by Haier Europe, connected and integrated with the Artificial Intelligence, but also the Group’s commitment towards innovation in the field of efficiency and energy saving. This is possible thanks to intelligent solutions that prove to be of great value for the customers who choose them, but also for the entire community. This agreement is part of a broader and more diversified strategy that includes multiple activities related to the energy management, a sector of primary interest for us”. The connection between Tate and Candy, Hoover and Haier solutions is possible thanks to the hOn app which connects with the Tate app.
