Microline’s testing equipment for washing machine or dishwasher electromechanical timer consists of a bench with two manually loaded identical posts and a management software to allow programming. The sequence of tests can be assembled directly by the user and all individual parameters can be associated to this sequence and subsequently modified. The testing procedures are filed with an unequivocal code, associated to the type of product. The available tests are: motor supply, test for timing cam switch, check for motor hook presence with optic/mechanical sensor, check for shell correct closing with position potentiometer, re-synchronization, shipping positioning, good/reject selection and history database, optical inspection for motor connectors correct positioning, check on 0.3 bar seal leakage. As regards to the optical inspection, two vision systems are used, one for each post, to analyze a limited area. In this area are recognized the correct positioning of the connectors and the block keepers. The test programming is carried out through self-learning on a good product. “The end user – the company explains – will be able to change freely the testing parameters to adapt them to prospective new needs. Every product model which is a testing object will have its own definition of a series of personalized parameters”.
