Oldrati (production of technical rubber, plastic and silicone articles) launched the first edition of Oldrati Academy dedicated to new graduates. Six young graduates in engineering and scientific fields have been selected and are participating in the first edition in which they have the opportunity to get involved within the Oldrati Group and deepen their methodological skills through specific courses, training projects and the development of strategic business projects. This training course lasts about 300 hours divided between theoretical and practical lessons, at the end of which there will be a direct placement in the company. The course is divided into three macro areas: an in-depth study of the world of polymers thanks to the collaboration with CESAP (European Centre for the Development of Polymer Applications), project management techniques and a final project assignment that will be presented to top management. The project enabled the creation of a training and vocational integration plan aimed at different types of new professionals, with the objective of stimulating professional start-ups and meeting the needs of local companies. “We started in June with the selections for this great opportunity that aims to give potential talents from all over Italy but also from abroad the Oldrati experience. The insertion of new international figures will allow for an increase in transversal roles, new synergies and interconnections with the Group’s various international offices. With a view to strengthening and growth, this new project fits in well with the Oldrati Group’s Vision and with the training and collaboration projects already launched over the years with local universities and technical institutes. The innovation of this project lies above all in its theoretical-practical structure and in the skills that the students will have acquired at the end, with the aim of becoming a point of reference in the Sebino Rubber district in the world of work”, commented Paolo Chiocca, HR Director of the Group. In November, the Oldrati Group opens a new Academy selection dedicated to young graduates, with new apprenticeship and internship programmes from all over Europe.
